Thirty years in the construction business has taught me a lot about craftsmanship. And just as importantly, it has taught me how to handle a project from concept to completion and how to communicate effectively with my clients.
My career in construction began when I was just a teenager, when my neighbor — an accomplished homebuilder — took me on as an apprentice. His lessons of quality and commitment are lessons that I carry with me to this day.
After high school I served two years with the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon returning home to the Twin Cities, I finished my degree from the University of Minnesota and began to purchase and remodel older homes, which I sold for a profit to help me through college.
After graduating from college, I began my career in new home construction and remodeling. Over the past 30 years I have gained extensive knowledge in new home construction, high end remodeling projects, commercial construction, as well as the basic projects like siding, roofs, windows, door, kitchens and baths.
In 1985 I completed my first commercial building, a retail and office building for National Camera Exchange in Golden Valley, Minnesota. Ten years later I completed the National Camera Burnsville retail building as well.
Currently, my wife Sally, (a teacher in the Bloomington School District ) and I live in Burnsville. My two sons also live in the metro area.
I look forward to meeting with you to discuss your next project.
